Summary

A 5-week program (meeting the the students twice each week), Primary Shakespeare's aim is to introduce Elementary School students to the works of William Shakespeare in order to give them power over the language and stories before they have built barriers to this "difficult language" when they encounter it in their higher education. Primary Shakespeare can be modeled around any of Shakespeare's plays such as Romeo and Juliet, A Midsummer Night's Dream or Macbeth.
