Booking Your Seats
The exclusive subscriber booking period opens May 1st at 12 PM and will continue for two weeks before single tickets go on sale to the general public. You will receive a reminder email from The Acting Company when this booking window opens.

Subscriber seats may be booked through the Duke on 42nd Street box office. Preview subscribers may select performances between July 14 and 27. Standard subscribers may select any performance between July 14 and August 24, with the exception of the opening night performances on Sunday, July 28:

By Phone: Call the Duke on 42nd Street box office at (646) 223-3010 and identify yourself as an Acting Company subscriber. Box office staff will have a list of Company subscribers on file.

Box office phone hours are:

Sunday - Monday, 11am-5pm;
Tuesday - Saturday, 11am-7pm

In Person: Visit the Duke on 42nd Street box office, located at 229 W. 42nd Street on the second floor of the building.  

Box office window hours are:

Tuesday - Friday, 4-7pm;
Saturday, 12-6pm
Extended hours until performance time on show days. Closed Memorial Day, July 1, and Independence Day.

Single tickets will go on sale to the general public beginning May 15th. While a limited number of seats in prime locations will be held for subscriber booking after this date, the same access to excellent seats as during the subscriber booking period cannot be guaranteed. Subscribers are strongly encouraged to book tickets during the May 1-14 booking window to ensure the best availability.


Where to Go

The Duke on 42nd Street
229 W. 42nd Street between 7th and 8th Avenue

Upon arrival to performances at the Duke on 42nd Street, please proceed to the theater box office to pick up your tickets if you have not elected to receive them in advance. The Duke Theater is located on the north side of 42nd Street between 7th and 8th Avenue. The box office and theater are located on the second floor of the building, with elevator access for patrons who have difficulty navigating stairs. Accessible restrooms are located on the same floor as the theater.

Ticket Exchanges
Ticket exchanges are offered as an exclusive benefit for Acting Company subscribers. To exchange your tickets, call the Duke on 42nd Street box office using the contact information above. Exchanges are made on the following basis:

  • Exchanges made at least 72 hours prior to the scheduled performance time will be made at no charge.
  • Exchanges made 24-72 hours prior to the performance are subject to a $5 per-ticket charge.
  • No exchanges may be made within 24 hours of the performance. However, you may turn your tickets back to the box office to have the value of your unused tickets credited as a tax-deductible contribution.
  • Exchanges are subject to availability, and on a best available basis.

    Unused or Unredeemed Subscriber Tickets

Unused tickets and/or unredeemed shows on your subscription are not refundable. However, they may be turned back to The Acting Company and credited as a tax-deductible contribution. To receive donation credit, please notify us in advance of your scheduled performance that you will not be using your tickets, or at any time prior to the final performance of the subscription event if you have not booked seats. To notify us that you will not be using your tickets, call the Acting Company offices at 212.258.3111 or email boxoffice@theactingcompany.org.
