On November 18, The Acting Company took home the 2019 Audelco Award for Best Play for its acclaimed New York premiere of Native Son, Nambi E. Kelley's adaptation of the novel by Richard Wright. Acting Company Alumni Recognized During 2019 Awards Season

Andy Grotelueschen (Henry V, The Spy) received his first Tony nomination for Best Supporting Actor in a musical for Tootsie. Past collaborator Michael McElroy will receive a special Tony Honor. Numerous other members of the TAC family are also Tony-nominated, including directors Bartlett Sher and Jack O'Brien, composer Adam Guettel, and designers Fitz Patton, Howell Binkley, Jennifer Tipton, Paul Tazewell, William Ivey Long, and Clint Ramos. 

Alum Patti LuPone has been honored with an Olivier Award for her performance in Company on the West End.
