In Peter Shaffer’s charming comedy LETTICE & LOVAGE, eccentric tour guide Lettice Douffet channels her flair for the dramatic into embellishing the history of dreary Fustian House, the least stately of London’s stately homes, until she encounters Lotte Schoen, a straitlaced bureaucrat from the Preservation Trust. As their animosity gives way to an unlikely friendship, Lettice and Lotte discover that their elaborate fantasies have unintended real-world complications.

The staged reading was performed to a sold-out audience, with a post-performance dinner with the cast at The Union Club. Cast included Angela Lansbury, Dana Ivey, Patricia Connolly, Paxton Whitehead, Andrew Weems, Ian Gould and other alumni of The Acting Company.
