November 17th was the date and 360 Degrees, a sleek, modern Tribeca penthouse, was the place to be as The Acting Company celebrated its 42nd Season and presented the John Houseman Award to DR. MARY SCHMIDT CAMPBELL, Dean Emerita of NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts, a member of the President’s Committee on the Arts and Humanities, former Chair of the New York State Council on the Arts and Commissioner of NYC’s Department of Cultural Affairs. VIN CIPOLLA, President of RGV and the Municipal Art Society of New York, received the Warburg Humanitarian Award for Outstanding Philanthropic Endeavor.
JANET ZARISH, an Acting Company alum, presented the Houseman Award to Dr. Campbell, given in recognition of a profound commitment to the development of American actors; DAVID ROCKEFELLER, JR. presented the Warburg Award to Mr. Cipolla. On the Town's STEPHEN DeROSA was emcee for the event.
Kinky Boot’s Tony-winning star, BILLY PORTER entertained. Silent and Live Auctions and dancing to the music of Grammy-winning orchestra, VINCE GIORDANO and the Nighthawks completed the evening. ANGELA PIERCE and TIM SAUNDERS co-chaired.
